Universal Interlock and Kitchen Expo – Your Partners in Success
Since 1987, Universal Interlock Corporation, the parent company of Kitchen Expo, has been a successful wholesale distributor of kitchen and bath cabinetry. In 1995, Brian Gordon, CEO, recognized the enormous potential of also delivering cabinetry directly to the consumer – and Kitchen Expo was born.

Universal Interlock and Kitchen Expo have grown to become one of New Jersey’s largest distributors of kitchen cabinetry. Universal is presently one of the nation’s largest dealers of UltraCraft Cabinetry and is New Jersey’s largest independent dealer of KraftMaid, Aristokraft, and Decora cabinetry. Kitchen Expo also carries a full complement of custom cabinetry for your more discerning clientele.

Today, Universal Interlock and Kitchen Expo continue to grow. Presently there are two Kitchen Expo showrooms and more are in the planning stages.

Do you offer turn-key installation service?

No, but we work very closely with our preferred installer.

Does your company measure and confirm layouts?

Yes, which also confirms that your framers have built your unit to the proper spec.

Do you have an inventory of cabinets, parts and accessories?

We inventory the most often-requested door styles and colors. If you need parts or accessories…we order as needed.

How large of a development job can Kitchen Expo handle?

We are currently working with several developments that are building and closing hundreds of units per month. No job is too big or too small. Our enormous resources enable us to handle any size job.

I build homes on spec, but don’t have time to design kitchens. How can you help?

Our account executives, design staff and customer care professionals can design and recommend kitchen and bath layout choices from your blueprints, or, if you prefer, meet with your homebuyer to make selections.

Can I send my homebuyers to a Kitchen Expo showroom to upgrade their cabinet selection or layout?

Sure! In this instance our outside sales force teams up with our in-house designers to assist your homebuyer with selecting upgrades and viewing designs.

My building needs range from affordable housing all the way up to mansions. What is your product mix?

Maximum competitive stock lines, semi-custom lines, full custom lines, and everything in between.

What is your delivery time frame for material?

All manufacturer have different lead times. Delivery time frames with the delivery company can change due to availability.

What is your delivery procedure for multi-unit deliveries or high-rise buildings?

Your choice, we can provide materials placed in each particular unit, or tailgate delivery for even more substantial savings.

Do you serve the tri-state area?

Yes, we service New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Delaware.

Each member of our sales staff offers over 20 years of professional trade experience.

What types of credit does Kitchen Expo offer?

1% 10 days net. 30 days is available based on credit approval. We also offer a unique credit tool, which features a 60-day “no payment” & “no interest” product. For more details please contact us.
